IMKO is a company dedicated to the precision measurement of moisture. It specializes in the manufacture of instruments that can determine the water content in grain, soil, concrete, etc. The instruments are certified and suitable for industrial use.

Development of an Android and IOS APP for measuring moisture in concrete, soil or grain.

The Challenge

The challenges in this project were the different Bluetooth chips used in the smartphones and the different edge cases.

Solutions

Using React Native, allows to use a large part of the code for Android and IOS
To ensure a clean management of the measurement data, Studio Present has implemented so called "sessions" for the data structure.
When starting the application, no Bluetooth PIN entry is required to connect your meter. The paired meter is displayed in the "Devices" page.

The Results

Studio Present created a completely new app for Android and IOS that meets IMKO requirements and App Store regulations.
